Dress Code 2022-2023 School Year
Joelton Elementary School is opting out of Standard School Attire with the following stipulations:
- All clothing must be appropriately sized. Tight, baggy, or sagging shirts or pants are not allowed. If sagging is a problem, you will be required to wear a belt. Shorts and skirts must also reach to the tips of your fingers or longer.
- Logos and/or manufactured trademarks need to be appropriate for an elementary school setting. If a student wears a shirt with inappropriate words or pictures, that student will be required to change.
- Outerwear such as raincoats, windbreakers, and cold-weather jackets and coats may not be worn in the school building unless permission is given based on the temperature inside the school.
- Appropriate footwear must be worn at all times. Laces on shoes and sneakers must be tied. Please refrain from wearing flip flops/sandals on PE days.
- Torn clothing, spaghetti strap tops, and see-through clothing is prohibited. Tops showing back and/or midriff are prohibited.
